About Uncover the Color
Philosophy
Uncover the Color is a collection of artists committed to creating high quality art in a wide variety of visual, auditory and live media. Whether in a worship gathering, in print or part of an original project, we believe that art is meant to reflect the deep creative heart of God. Our artists seek to challenge The Church into deeper expression and authentic experiences through a renewed depth in the creative process.
Our website features a combination of completed works, elements for use in your original works, services and training tools - all designed to help you do what you do more effectively.
These are the things that we desire to define our products and our processes:
-
Excellence
Our artists are called to the deepest level of creativity, and because of this, end users won't have to filter through pages of embarrassing pieces to get to something that might work for their application. Uncover the Color is committed to quality over quantity, and while this might not be the most lucrative model, it is the right model. Our artists will work longer and harder to create projects that not only inspire, but connect people to the heart of God.
-
Relationship
This is the foundation of Uncover the Color. Whether it's our graphic designers or the artists we send out onto the road, we desire to connect with and challenge those around us. When our designers live hundreds of miles from one another and those we send out onto the road are only in one place for a short time, it's difficult to foster depth. But, we are committed to being present physically, mentally and spiritually in every moment in hopes of loving well.
-
Inspiration
It's our desire that our work would inspire others to create. We don't want others to simply emulate. It's our hope that our art would communicate something of the deep spiritual connection between the artist and the Creator and that others would, in turn, desire to connect with God.
